These terms apply when you use koonijewel.com, place an order with us or book a fitting at our studio. KOONI Jewelry is based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. "We", "us" and "our" mean KOONI Jewelry. "You" means the person using the site or buying from us. By placing an order or booking a fitting, you agree to these terms.

1. Our products

We describe and photograph every piece as accurately as we can. Because much of our work is finished by hand, and because natural stones and pearls vary, your piece may differ slightly in colour, tone or detail from the photographs. Screens also show colour differently. These differences are part of the piece and are not faults.

Plated pieces are plated over a base metal and will wear with time and use. Our care advice is in the FAQ.

2. Prices and payment

All prices are in Omani Rial (OMR).
Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment is taken in full at checkout through our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
We may change prices at any time. Any change does not affect an order we have already confirmed.
If a price is shown wrongly by mistake, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

3. Orders

Your order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a piece is out of stock or we suspect fraud. If we do, we refund any amount you have paid in full.

4. Delivery

We deliver within Oman. Costs and timings are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Once your order has been delivered to the address you gave, it is your responsibility.

5. Permanent jewellery fittings

A fitting is booked online with a 5.000 OMR deposit. The deposit is taken off the price of your piece at the studio.
The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or don't come to your fitting.
You may reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your fitting.
Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your fitting may be shortened or moved so the next customer isn't kept waiting.
Before the weld, please tell us about any metal allergy, skin condition, or medical device or procedure that might be affected. We may decline to weld if we think it isn't safe.
The chain is welded closed and is made to stay on. You can remove it at any time by cutting the chain. We are not responsible for damage to the chain caused by removing it.
If your chain comes undone, we will re-weld it free of charge when you bring back the original chain.

6. Bespoke orders

Bespoke pieces are made to your order. We begin production only after you approve the design. If you cancel after the design has been shared with you and before production begins, we refund 45% of the amount paid. Once production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged.

7. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Our Return & Refund Policy sets out what can and cannot be returned or exchanged and how to do it. It forms part of these terms.

8. Your account and your information

Keep your account details private. You are responsible for everything done through your account. We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our content

All designs, photographs, text and branding on this site belong to KOONI Jewelry. Do not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Liability

We are responsible for providing the products and services you order with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that we could not have reasonably foreseen, or that results from wear, misuse, accidents, or failing to follow our care advice. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
